Asia-Oceania Seminar on Pallottine Youth Ministry began with The Holy Eucharist presided over by Rev. Fr. Martinis Manus, the consultor of the General Council. Fr. George Madaikal welcomed the participants for inaugural function and the seminar. The chief guest of the function Fr. Martinis Manus gave the key note address. The resource person of the day Fr. James Thomas spoke on Pallotti’s charism and his Apostolate among the youth. Prabhuprakash province gives the glimpse of its youth ministry in its territory.
The second day of the Asia Oceania seminar on pallottine youth ministry began on a spiritual note with the Eucharistic celebration. The liturgy and the choir was arranged by the life givers youth group of the Yadavgiri parish of the Mysore diocese. The second day had an able and dynamic resource person in Fr. Arogya Raj, a Salesian priest working in Hassan. He spoke on “youth Ministry’: Issues, Challenges and possible approaches in contemporary times. He highlighted the issues and challenges of the youth of India today and how are they “responding’ to those issues and challenges; towards the end he gave a reflection on how can we as facilitators be of some use to them in this task.
